Hexagons

We were Artsmart and Mathsmart with hexagons.

We had to colour in the diamonds in the hexagon using a light, medium and dark colour. When we put them all together they look 3D !!!

Shapes

We have been learning about 2D and 3 D shapes. We used isometric graph paper to draw hexagons. We discovered that hexagons can have 6 triangles and 3 diamonds in them.

Arayvia drew 2 different sizes of hexagons.

June drew hexagons like in a beehive.

Olivia found triangles in some of her hexagons.
